Major Title Coming – There are several rumors and hints abound that seem to claim Stephanie McMahon will be announcing the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles  this Monday.  While no word has been confirmed, the WWE is hinting at Stephanie making a major announcement and Sasha Banks has been teasing it a low on Instagram.  It should also be noted that Banks has been very vocal about the tag titles debuting once again in the WWE.

Major IMPACT Injury – On a weekend that had many extremely excited for Slammiversary XVI, we have our first downer of the week.  Apparently Rich Swann suffered what some report as a “severe” concussion in his match at Major League Wrestling’s Battleriot event.  Swann’s condition is thought to be fine, but his wrestling availability is in jeopardy for this weekend.  IMPACT are monitoring the situation and are calling replacements if need be as we speak.

My opinion, cut bait with Swann for Sunday and just bring someone else in.  Swann’s health is too important to rush him back 3-odd days after a major head injury.

Quick Hits – WWE is still talking about doing an all women’s in September or October at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island.  Current rumors have Samoa Joe taking on AJ Styles at SummerSlam for the WWE Championship.  WWE has announced Mia Yim, Killer Kelly, Crystal and Mercedes Martinez as four more contenders in the 2nd Mae Young Classic.  Vince McMahon missed the WWE’s week of shows this week due to him being on vacation.  Former Kelly Kelly has revealed she still wants a WWE return.
