Former WWE Wrestler Re-Retires, Dolph Ziggler Heading to Free Agency? and More! – WrestleCorp News

Enzo Amore Retired? – Enzo Amore appeared on the Stone Cold podcast recently and revealed some stupid fucking news; He’s retired.  That’s right, after quitting wrestling, he took a booking wit Amazing Red’s House of Glory promotion, and before that event could even happen, Enzo has re-retired from wrestling.  He wants to focus on making (terrible) rap music and (awful) movies with his (talentless) friends.   Those words weren’t there in the interview but I knew what he meant so I filled in the blank.  Enzo has already quit twice, and because of that I’m done covering him.  Fuck ’em.

Dolph Ziggler Contract News – This is the rumor that refuses to die.  According to PWInsider, the rumor of Ziggler’s big deal is apparently not as big as previously rumored.   Mike Johnson of PWInsider revealed that Ziggler’s deal is actually up this summer and that the Intercontinental Title may of been given to him in order to re-sign him.

I don’t know how WWE will follow up on this but if they are smart, they’re well on their way of finally after so many years rebooting Dolph Ziggler and getting him into a position of prominence. Now what’s interesting is Ziggler’s deal is up later this summer. If they are going to invest in Dolph and get him to re-up with this company, now is the time to do it. Hopefully this is a case where they are going to sincerely push him and they are going to finally make him the asset he’s always been for that company and kinda overlooked. Instead of being overlooked by the company, it’s not a case of lets use him now and get him locked in and once he signs paper to pencil we can toss him to the waste side again.

Quick Hits –  …Meets World star Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga on the shows was backstage at last night’s SmackDown.  Kane returned to SmackDown last night and reformed Team Hell No with Daniel Bryan.  Enzo Amore revealed he was supposed to lose his Cruiserweight Championship in a poker game at RAW 25.  Kenny Omega feels there could be a fifth match between him and Kazuchika Okada.
