Disney’s Acquisition of Fox Update – The Department of Justice has approved of the Disney bid for 20th Century Fox’s assets but with one minor catch. The court has claimed that Disney must “…carve out Fox’s regional sports networks over ESPN-related monopoly concerns”. Apparently many have speculated that this would be dropped from the deal regardless of who purchased it. Apparently Comcast is still in the bidding for Fox and have the right to respond in kind.
‘Suicide Squad’ Actor to Star in Spider-Man Spin Off – The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that DC actor Jared Leto is in talks to play Michael Morbius, aka Morbius the living Vampire. Daniel Espinosa has been brought on to direct and pen the script.
