Three Major NXT Signings Expected – The WWE is apparently about to sign former NJPW star Ricochet and ROH stars War Machine. Ricochet is expected in January at some time, and has declined an offer from IMPACT Wrestling. War Machine finished up with ROH after this weekend but still has to work WrestleKingdom 12 before being free to sign.

Update on Women’s Royal Rumble – As announced last night to close RAW, the WWE will hold a women’s Royal Rumble match at the event this upcoming January. However things like “will there be a men’s Rumble”, “how many people will be in it?” have not been answered. It’s been confirmed it’s for a women’s championship match at WrestleMania, but that’s all we know. Dave Meltzer of The Observer is saying that many expect Ronda Rousey to be in the Rumble match. Another name that might be in the Rumble is Trish Stratus. She tweeted out that she was “looking for her boots” after the announcement was made, and it seems likely the WWE would bring her in to help boast the match.

Quick Hits – Dean Ambrose has suffered an elbow injury and is being evaluated by Dr. James Andrews. Randy Orton is expected off t.v. after January, he’s currently not booked through February or May and may be off WrestleMania. Rockstar Spud is backstage at SmackDown today.
