‘Silver and Black’ to Feature Classic Spider-Man Villain, Chris Evans to Take on New Mantle in Avengers 3 – ComicCorp News

We’re on the verge of finding out Kurt Angle’s secret on RAW, and with that we have to finish up the nightly news for today. Here’s the comic and nerdy side of things.

Silver and Black Villains – The upcoming ‘Silver and Black’ film will introduce many Spider-Man villains, including Mendel “Gaunt” Stromm, who will be responsible for creating Anton Rodriguez and Mac Gargan who will be modded to play the Tarantula and the Scorpion. The three will part of the primary antagonist villain team. Joining them will be in some degree Lonnie Lincoln, also known as Tombstone. There’s also reports that the Chameleon will play a minor role as Silver Sable’s “go-to guy” for information regarding South America.

Captain America’s New Identity – During “Avengers: Infinity War”, Steve Rogers will be on the run and will take up the identity of The Nomad. He’ll sport a beard and long blonde hair. He won’t sport a suit identical to the Nomad costume in the comics, but will sport one that pays homage to it.

Will Winter Soldier Appear in ‘Black Panther’? – Sebastian Stan talked to Good Morning America at the D23 Expo, and revealed to them his status for the upcoming “Black Panther” movie.

I am not in Black Panther. I did not have any relation with Black Panther.

Curious choice to not feature him at all, as his character, the Winter Soldier was left there at the end of “Civil War”.

Quick Hits – Director of ‘Nightwing’ film expects lead actor to be constantly training in martial, gymnastics and stunt work. Andy Muschietti has been hired to direct the upcoming 1980’s Robotech live action movie. DC launches alternate reality series called ‘Gotham City Garage’ that’ll feature a mostly female roster, much in the same vein as “Bombshell”.
