‘Titans’ Cast Beast Boy, ‘Arrowverse Spoilers’ (Seriously, Warning) – ComicCorp News

“Titans” Cast Big Hero 6 Star – The core group is complete, why it took so long for Beast Boy is anyone’s guess, but we have him. The first live action version is going to Ryan Potter, the lead in Marvel’s “Big Hero 6” film back in 2014. The 22 year old is probably the only one, outside of Raven, who could pass as been a teen still; however it might make more sense to have him as an adult as everyone else seems to be. The live action description reads as follows;

Gar contracted a lethal disease on an African safari with his geneticist parents, only to experience some “bizarre side effects” after being treated with an experimental drug. In addition to his hair and skin turning completely green, Gar — described as both “wisecracking” and “fun-loving” — can also transform into animals of any size.

Arrowverse Spoilers – We reported earlier this week that “Arrow” was going to name drop their biggest name to date. We all knew who it was, but today in a video released by CW, we can now confirm it; Bruce Wayne. The video highlights Oliver denying he’s the Green Arrow, and cites that anyone can doctor photos to make them seem legit, then says that they could of put anyone on that body, even Bruce Wayne’s. With an Amazon-centric pilot in the works a few years back, Superman appearing on not only “Smallville” but also “Supergirl”, and Barry Allen working full time on his own show, it’s not hard to believe that we’ll get a Batman or Bruce Wayne citing one day.

In other Arrowverse news, this years crossover, “Crisis on Earth-X”, will not have Barry as a Nazi as previously thought. Instead it’ll be either Eobard Thawne, or Harrison Wells, depending on that universes history.

Now, Harry is set to return to The Flash, sometime soon. So it’s always possible this is some in show plan where Harry dresses up as Barry’s Flash character to do something. However it’s far more likely that this is just another version of Harrison Wells, one that I’m more than excited to see.

Also and finally, we have the first look at a more comic accurate version of Captain Cold for the crossover.

Cable News – Josh Brolin opened up recently about Cable, the X-Force spinoff and more. You can see his quotes below;

Working with director David Leitch

[David] embraces what he’s very good at, which I think is very smart. There’s ton of action in it. The tease is, a guy who’s 49 years old on the cusp of 50 who got in the best shape of his life, especially exteriorly, and I was extremely disciplined throughout that whole thing. I got beat to shit on that movie. That’s all I know. I had stuntmen throwing me all over the place. I’ve got a shoulder issue, I’ve got a knee issue that I’ve got to deal with now, but we got through it. We got through it. I pushed hard and I suffered because of it.

X-Force’s Time Table

I think [X-Force films] sometime next year or soon thereafter. It depends. It all depends. It depends on how Deadpool 2 does, but I don’t think that’s a make or break kind of deal. Drew Goddard is already involved in it. He’s into it now. I know he and Ryan were meeting. I’ve met him once, and so this is all kind of going ahead. How it goes ahead, I know that they’re preparing, and I know that it’s something that I’m set to do. When it happens they’re going to put it as fast as they can. I think Drew Goddard is doing his movie right now and then once he’s kind of wrapped up with that and this movie comes out I think we’ll be ready to start the other one.

How much he’s involved in Deadpool 2

I’m not going to tell you how much I’m in the film, but it’s his introduction, and I think his introduction, even in the small promos and teasers that David has shown me, I think it’s a proper reveal. I think we’re not trying to hide the fact that this is the beginning of Cable and absolutely not the end. I think when you’re sensitive about how you reveal this character there’s a sense of mystery in it, so then when we finally get into X-Force, you’re going to be with this guy full blown all the time. There’s a lot to be revealed. There’s a lot to be revealed, but there’s three more movies to reveal more.

Quick Hits – There’s a rumor that not only does Fox own the rights to the Skrulls, but that they’ll be in the “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” film. Warner Bros. is launching an Oscar campaign for Wonder Woman.
