Greg Berlanti Responds to Andrew Kerisberg – Months since we found out that Andrew Kresiberg was accused of sexual misconduct, series EP Greg Berlanti is finally commenting on the events. In speaking with Variety he replied to how he felt when the news came out, saying;
I was shocked, I was disappointed, I was confused. But my overwhelming desire then and to this moment was how I can fix this, how can I help people that may have been hurt in any way. That is still the predominant feeling I have about all of it. So that supersedes all of the other feelings and emotions.
He then talked about how he heard of the allegations, saying;
I first received an allegation about Andrew and harassment about a week before the Variety article came out. It was from a third party, not affiliated with any of the shows, who called me and shared something with me that I found deeply upsetting. I immediately alerted Warner Brothers. They had just heard the same thing and decided they were going to begin an internal investigation right away. The article came out and brought other things to light.
Flashpoint Gets new Director(s) – Talk about a rotating door. It’s being rumored today that Warner Bros. has found their next set of directors for the “Flashpoint!” film. After three departures, the group at Warner Bros. have decided to bring in John Francis Dalely (regular on ‘Bones’), and Johnathon Goldstein to direct the film. Both men were part of the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” writing team, with four others. No official announcement has been made yet.
Spider-Man in ‘Venom’ After All?f – There’s so many different versions of this story. Some that say Spider-Man can’t appear in anything Sony does while the character is ON LOAN to Disney, and some that say he can. Well today, John Schnepp, some famed ‘scooper’ revealed that Spider-Man is in fact in line for a cameo in the ‘Venom’ film after all. He’s quoted as saying;
I’m gonna say it right here on this show, Spider-Man is gonna be in Venom
This is a rumor that makes sense, as Sony still technically owns the rights to the character, and it’s even rumored that Sony has veto power over not only where he shows up, but how he’s used.
Quick Hits – Someone wants a heavily edited ‘Last Jedi’ film that basically is just the Kylo Ren show. It’s pretty terrible, won’t even link to it. Brandon Routh puts over a ‘fun little scene’ he has with Matt Ryan’s John Constantine in their “Legends of Tomorrow” episode. A new image has emerged showing Ant-Man and The Wasp in their suits, you can see that below;
