Chris Jericho Finally Going to IMPACT?, ROH Signs WWE Veteran and More!

Chris Jericho is the prototypical cock tease of pro wrestling.  Jericho knows how to tease something probably better than anyone.  The man of a 1004 holds recently posted a photo on Instagram of himself spending time with IMPACT President Ed Nordholm, and IMPACT executives Scott D’Amore and Don Callis.  Jericho can be seen sharing a laugh with the three IMPACT top dogs and his own father, Ted Irvine.  What does any of this mean for Jericho and IMPACT?  Who knows.  It’s fair to say that IMPACT wants Jericho, and this isn’t the first time we’ve heard this rumor since 2005.  It feels like only a matter of time, but it’s anyone’s guess.

Jim Duggan opened up to TMZ about his health scare that involved some heart issues; Duggan is home now and has a good outlook going forward.  Also in other injury news Sin Cara is expected to return in early 2019, probably at The Royal Rumble.

In strange Ring of Honor news, the Philadelphia-based promotion has signed former WWE World Tag Team Champion Pierre Carl Ouellet to a full time, exclusive deal; according to PWInsider.  Ouellet just finished his run with Major League Wrestling and has cancelled upcoming indy performances in order to start right away for ROH.  No word yet on what the expectation is for the 50 year old veteran.  He’s had a career resurgence in the last two years and had wanted to return to the WWE, but apparently since he knew that wasn’t in the cards, he hopped in one of the biggest promotions in the world instead.
