Aquaman Tracking for Big Opening, Why did Negan Stop Reading the Books and More!

One of the reasons why Jeffrey Dean Morgan is so beloved by fans across so many properties is because of his honest fandom.  He’s a big ol comic dork like the rest of us.  The man who plays Negan on the AMC series is in fact a fan of the comic book series The Walking Dead, the same book series that inspired the show that he’s now a lead actor on.  During a brief Q and A on Twitter, Morgan revealed that despite his fandom of The Walking Dead, he’s quit reading the books for the time being, saying;

I stopped reading after introduction. Wanted to form my own reactions. And also not fall in love with comic storylines and then not follow. I own them all. Gus reads. I will look at particular scenes if we film… but I’m saving them for when negan is no more. Or show ends…ha!

For you Aquaman fans, good news.  According to The Wrap, an analyst who tracks opening weekends of big films projects that Aquaman will break $100 million opening weekend, the first film to do so since the start of the summer.

In other great news, Young Justice: Outsiders has released a trailer hyping up the third season of the popular show.  It’ll return in January on the DC Universe streaming service.
