Cody Teases WWE Future? Crown Jewel News and More! – WrestleCorp News

Cody Talks All In 2 and WWE Future – According to reports from the Rock & Wrestling Rager Cruise event happening this week, Cody took on Delirious, who’s also the head booker of Ring of Honor.  After the match, Cody took the mic and revealed that he was trying to bring All In 2 to everyone who wants it.  He also reiterated that he had no interest in signing with the WWE nor was he going to be a member of the Royal Rumble in January.

It’s stated in the report that Brandi Rhodes was pleading with her husband to stay quiet on the matter, for whatever reason.  That being said, these are Cody’s last dates with ROH.  It’s even more intriguing because he has no desire to re-up with them at the given time.  He, The Bucks, Hangman Page and Kenny Omega are apparently going to make a group decision about where they go next.  Though there is still no concrete report on that as of yet.

Cody is not under an official deal with NJPW and was working dates through his ROH deal, but is interested in working with them going forward despite his deal expiring.

WWE Crown Jewel News – This is a situation that will reverberate for months going forward, mark my words.  Jim Ross commented on the situation and said that he was “…paid very, very well. PWInsider is reporting that a pitch was made recently to add Drew McIntyre to the main event of the show, which will see Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar battle for the WWE Championship.  No report yet if that’s going to happen or not.

While John Cena and Daniel Bryan are rumored to be skipping the event, there is no word yet as to what their status is.  Bryan is slated for a WWE Championship match against AJ Styles, while Cena is in the World Cup Tournament.  Right now rumors have Lashley replacing Cena if an agreement can’t be made to bring Cena to the country.

Gillberg Talks Goldberg – When Gillberg debuted in the WWE, he was a member of the J.O.B. Squad with Bob Holly, Al Snow, and 2 Cold Scorpio.  Before joining the WWE though, he and a friend were doing parody gimmicks on the indies, telling Andy Malnoske;

I was actually doing [Gillberg] on the independents.  Me and and a buddy came up with it. We did The Underfaker, we did ‘Stone Old’ and we did Gillberg.

His run as Gillberg caused some issue with Bill Goldberg, who was extremely intense and offended about the parody, resulting in Goldberg infamously telling Gillberg that he had an ass kicking coming.  Though Gillberg says that since then, things have gotten better, saying;

I met Goldberg twice. One time he told me he hated my guts and I had an ass-kicking coming. About five years later I met him and he was super cool and understood everything. He’s really cool about everything now.
