X-Men Actress Missing, PlayStations Sad Cash Grab and More! – ComicCorp News

X-Men Star Missing – Fan Bingbing, the woman who played Blink in X-Men: Days of Future Past has disappeared, leaving several projects in development.  The 37 year old has been facing legal issues in China due to tax evasion.   However, according to Shanghaiist, Fan appeared online for her 37th birthday, presumably to see if anyone sent her well wishes on the social media website Weibo.   She and her fiance Li Chen were both seen to be online for about a ten minute window, where she stated today was her birthday but the message was soon deleted.   She has not been seen publicly in any facet since July.  Since this whole thing started her already finished projects are removing her. Jia Zhangke’s latest film Ash in the Purest White aired at the Toronto Film Festival just last week, and was set to have a cameo featuring Fan, but Jia apparently cut her scenes.

The Chinese government, which totally never lies to people, claims that the situation is “under control” according to Time.  Though that message has been deleted too.

PlayStation Announces Classic System – Well, Nintendo’s attempts to kill the secondary video game market in America is well under way and apparently Sony is dog piling on the burial of the buy-back and retro markets.  PlayStation is set to release the PlayStation Classic, which will feature 20 games, five of which we know already.  Those are; Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash!, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms.

It’s not that surprising this is happening.  And I won’t be shocked at all to see more games that have high re-sale value on the console as well as more games get revealed.

The system is selling for $99.99 in the US and $129.99 in Canada.   The system launches just in time for the Holidays, as it drops on December 3rd, 2018.
