Billy Corgan Claims He Was Deceived, Former ECW Star in Jain and More! – WrestleCorp News

Billy Corgan’s Still Mad – Billy Corgan can’t get over the fact that Dixie Carter and company defrauded him.  Back in 2015 Corgan came on board with the company, and even fronted cash for several shows and payroll.  He put in $1.8 million dollars into the company, under the presumption of being paid back.  He wasn’t.  In November of 2016, Anthem came in and resolved the debt that Corgan had, due to Dixie Carter being unable to.

But Corgan is still mad about Dixie’s handling of the situation, saying;

To put it simply I was completely deceived by people I thought were my friends. We’re not just talking about people who are business associates, we’re talking about going to people’s houses, playing with their kids. In some cases, [I was] staying in their houses.

To realize that they have no problem stabbing you in the back, that was pretty shocking to me. You know, look life happens. Things happen, but that was some pretty scummy stuff.

He goes on further to explain the situation saying;

The numbers are out there.  I had put $1.8 million of my own cash into the company. There are literally where if I didn’t put the money in the company would have been shut down. There would be no Impact Wrestling today if I didn’t write a check on that particular day.

What was weird to me was not only that I was being deceived in my estimation fraudulently, you know borderline criminal. In fact, I even talked to authorities whether there was criminality involved and there were differing opinions about actual criminality. Then once it went into more of a legal process because that was advised by attorneys the most likely way to recover my money which I ultimately did.

What was even more shocking was watching people that you had considered only months before literally inventing stories out of whole cloth. I mean literally inventing situations and scenarios that didn’t happen. Then you start getting into like, ‘wow, I’m in a bad Vince Russo wrestling angle here, like, did Vince book this s–t?’ It was like ‘you’ve got to be kidding me,’ it was wacky world.

Dixie leveraged the company a few times, promising full transfer of ownership with investors should she not pay back in good faith.  Corgan remain vague on many of the issues and lies he was allegedly told, but maybe Corgan was promised something he soon found he’d never get.  Well, at least the NWA has been fun to watch.

Justin Credible Arrested –  Another Attitude Era star has been arrested.  Justin Credible was arrested on this past Tuesday, August 14th for a violation of a protective order against him.  The felony arrest seems to stem from a two previous arrests in 2017, one in March another in December, where he was arrested for threatening and another violation of a protective agreement against his wife.  This marks two separate incidents now in a twelve month period where Credible violated a restraining order against him.  He’s currently sitting at a Waterbury, CT jail; where he remains locked because he’s unable to pay his $7,500 bond.

Credible retired from the ring full time in 2015 but returned in 2016 and 2017 in  a reduced capacity.   Credible had been clean and sober – according to Justin – but apparently relapsed late last year.  We here at NerdCorp hope he finds the help he needs.
