Peter Weller Back for RoboCop Returns? Reynolds Hilarious Pitch for ‘Deadpool 2’ and More! – ComicCorp News

RoboCop to see Return of Icon? – Peter Weller may not be the most household name ever, but Weller has made of a name for himself in iconic roles, most recently as Admiral Markus in Star Trek: Into Darkness, and in Sons of Anarchy as retired cop Charles Barosky.  He’s most famous though for his role in the RoboCop franchise.  With Neill Blomkamp now at the helm of RoboCop Returns, it appears as though Blomkamp wants Weller back under the visor.   The 71 year old might be a bit too old to play the role but rumors have long attached Weller to return to the franchise since the reboot was announced.

Ryan Reynolds Tells Unique Pitch Stories –  Ryan Reynolds was on Jimmy Fallon’s show last night and humorously revealed the first pitch for Deadpool 2.  Whether these are real stories, or simply Reynolds being Reynolds is anyone’s guess.  Yet, he’s quoted as saying;

Brad Pitt’s going to do it’, and they were like ‘Hold on, back up. Brad Pitt’s gonna do this?’

And I was like, ‘yeah, he’s playing one of the characters’. They’re like, ‘which character,’ and I was like, ‘he’s going to play Vanisher.’ They’re like ‘what’s Vanisher’s power’ and I was like ‘he doesn’t speak and he’s invisible’, and they were like ‘why is Brad Pitt playing him’, and I said ‘because you see him’.  They were like ‘when do you see him’ and I said ‘You see him for a quarter of a second when he’s electrocuted to death,
