Top Female Talent Hurt – Ruby Riot is currently on the DL after sustaining a confirmed MCL sprain.  She suffered the injury at a live event over the weekend and there was apparent concern that she’d missed ample time if it was a tear.  Luckily for everyone it was only a sprain.  She should be ready to return in 2-4 weeks if it heals properly.

NFL Star Back to IMPACT? –  DeAngelo Williams made his in ring debut last year in Orlando at Slammiversary XV, and told everyone that it was a one time thing.  However when talking to TMZ, Williams revealed that he’s getting back in the ring, saying;

I said I’d never do this again, but I’m back in the ring!

While not booked for a match, it is rumored that he’ll be seconding Moose in his Championship match against IMPACT World Champ, Austin Aries.

 

Why Baron Corbin Shaved His Head -Baron Corbin recently talked to KELOLAND in Sixou Falls, South Dakota and revealed why he shaved his head.  In the interview, he revealed;

It was just a part of stepping into this role that Stephanie [McMahon] has given me.  Looking professional. And if I’m gonna be telling people what to do, I want to look professional as well.

Quick Hits – Ricky Steamboat is up and walking around after surgery on his hip.  Shinsuke Nakamura will be out at least another week as his bite heals.  Shinsuke also revealed that wrestling Daniel Bryan was a big reason why he joined the company.
