New Firefly Comic Coming, Walking Dead Moderator Announced and More! – ComicCorp News

New Firefly Comic Coming – A new Firefly comic will tell the story of the Unification War thanks to BOOM! comics. The story will be written by Greg Pak and art will be handled by Dan McDaid.   This isn’t the first piece of Firefly entertainment to come out since the show was cancelled in 2002.  There was another group of comics that are being collected in the Firefly: Legacy Edition, Book One for fans to get their hands on.

Hardwick Replacement Named – While the Chris Hardwick accusations continue to be sorted out, Hardwick remains on leave.  The Walking Dead panel though at ComicCon will in fact bring someone close to the show in order to make sure things continue as is.  The Powers That Be have tapped recurring guest host Yvette Nicole Brown of Community-fame to handle the hosting duties at the event.

Hardwick was also attached to do the Doctor Who panel as well, but no replacement has been named.

Quick Hits – The author that spoiled the Batman/Catwoman marriage story-line has apologized for it.  Peyton Reed always wanted Michelle Pfeiffer to play Janet Van Dyne in the Ant-Man film franchise.  A new Firefly comic will tell the story of the Unification War thanks to BOOM! comics.   Director of Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation has opted to not film a Star Wars film, citing the toxic fandom.   Scream Factory is re-releasing Trick ‘r Treat on a Blu Ray collectors edition that will be available on October 9th.
