Scott Steiner Slams WWE Again, Fox Tells WWE Their Product is ‘Embarrassing’ and More! – WrestleCorp News

Fox Claims NBCU Is Embarrassed by WWE Product – The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that Rupert Murdoch met with Stephanie and Paul Levesque and informed them that NBC Universal, parent company of the USA Network, was embarrassed by the current WWE product.  Apparently top execs like Co-Presidents Michelle Wilson and George Barrios was also at the meeting.  No context was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, so it’s unsure if Fox told the WWE this to encourage them to change their product or if it was an attempt to paint NBCU in a bad light.

Murdoch allegedly offered the WWE nightly SmackDown promos during their sports programming, as well as a studio show at FS1.

Scott Steiner Hates HOF – Scott Steiner again doubles down on his views on the WWE Hall of Fame.  This isn’t new for him, as he’s been claiming the same things against the WWE HOF for years.  Steiner really hammers home he doesn’t think it’s legit.  However, what is problematic is that Steiner is essentially talking himself out of an IMPACT Wrestling HOF spot as well.  Granted, they didn’t induct anyone last year, and this year there’s been no announcement so far as another inductee, so who knows.  But if Steiner does ever get inducted into the IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Fame, it’ll be interesting to see how he handles it.

Quick Hits – Enzo Amore claims that the Las Vegas PD never contacted him to inform him of charges pending against him.   Joe Rogan believes that CM Punk still isn’t ready to fight on the UFC grand stage.  Keith Lee is expected to start with the WWE soon; he posted an Infinity War Meme recently where he said goodbye on Twitter.   Total Bella’s ratings drops for a second straight week.
