AMC Offering Reedus Huge Pay Day to Stay With ‘Walking Dead’, New Pokemon Game Coming and More! – ComicCorp News

The Walking Dead Finds New Lead With? – Oh Norman Reedus, you lucky, lucky man.  He’s not just the most popular member of the “Walking Dead” cast, but now the folks at The Walking Dead are looking at giving Norman Reedus a ridiculous $20 million contract to replace Andrew Lincoln as the lead of the show.  The deal is not finalized as of right now, but the hope and idea is that it’ll be done soon, in order to start setting up season 10 (they’re currently in season 9).   Right now, only Reedus and Melissa McBride (Carol) remain from the first season of the series.  Reedus’ character was just a side character and Mcbride’s character was killed off in the comics earlier into the series.

New Pokemon Game Coming? – Two new Pokemon games are coming in November, and they’re called Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee on the Switch.  The games are coming out on November 16.  The game will be set in Kanto, and will essentially be a remade console version of Pokemon: Yellow.  The game will feature all 151 original Pokemon, which yes, includes Mew.  Apparently there will also be a Poke’ ball shaped controller as well.

Sonic The Movie Has New Leading Names –  Yesterday ComicBook.com reported that Paul Rudd was in talks to be the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog in the upcoming Sonic film.  However today they’re reporting that Rudd’s no longer in contention and revealed that Jack Black, Ed Helms, Owen Wilson, and Jason Segal are all being considered for the role now.

Quick Hits – The anime called “Batman Ninja” will be made into a manga by Area 51 artist Masato Hisa, and will in Monthly Hero’s magazine in Japan.  Disney is reportedly setting up a counter offer against Comcast to secure the rights for Fox’s studio.  Marvel jokes in their “Spider-Man” comic about how to pronounce symbiote.
