Predator Trailer Debuts – The long awaited trailer for Shane Black’s “The Predator” has debuted.  The trailer seems to hint at the Predators evolving their tech with each planet they land on, seemingly powering them up in previous films.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film;

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

 

Deadpool 2 Skit Drops – Deadpool’s first film featured a hilarious dig at world famous soccer icon David Beckham. Now, in a promotional teaser for the sequel, Beckham and Deadpool finally come face to face.

 

 

Rick and Morty News – Rick and Morty will have more episodes after weeks of speculation and concern that Cartoon Network may cancel the super popular cartoon.  Concerns arose when the creators of the show and the Network couldn’t agree on a dollar figure that would satisfy all those involved.  But it looks like everyone is now happy with how much money they’re going to make, as co-creator Justin Roiland tweeted out the following.

 

New Super Nintendo Game Being Released – Devolver Digital a new Super Nintendo game called Fork Parker’s Crunch Out.  The game is set for $49.99 and can be ordered here.  The game is actually pretty deep.  The point of the game is to put yourself in the shoes of a video game developer and your goal is finish the game despite any obstacles; including your own personal health.

The games purpose is to raise awareness for mental health.  Devolver Digital and Mega Cat Studios revealed that 100% of all the game’s profits will be donated to the Take This organization.  A nonprofit group that is trying to… “to inform our community about mental health issues, to provide education about mental disorders and mental illness prevention, and to reduce the stigma of mental illness (learn more here).”

The game’s premise is below

Devolver Digital CFO, Fork Parker, enjoyed a life of luxury and spent his days watching the profits roll in from the lucrative indie game publishing industry. However, an upstart new publishing label threatens to take his beloved market share, forcing the handsome executive to take matters into his own hands and start ‘motivating’ his game developers by any means necessary. Meaningless elements like “artistic integrity” and “engaging gameplay” are out the window as efficiency and deadlines now dictate the studio’s every move – welcome to crunch time.
