Booker T Talks Hogan, Charlotte Flair’s Injury and More! – WrestleCorp News

Booker T Backs Hogan – Booker T believes that Hulk Hogan should be given a second chance and sites his tenure in WCW with Hogan as a prime reason why he believes in Hogan.

The only thing Hogan can do is apologize, atone for it, and we move forward.  Everyone deserves a second chance, that’s just the way I am. I talk about Hulk Hogan being in my corner back in the day… Back in day, if it wasn’t for Hulk Hogan, I don’t know if Booker T and Stevie Ray would’ve gotten the push that we got. Back in the day, Sister Sherri was an intricate detail, she was an intricate part of Harlem Heat and our success, and it was all because of Hulk Hogan saying, ‘those are the guys you should be putting your money behind.’

I’m not gonna take that away from him.  I’m not gonna sit here and say, ‘no he should be blackballed, blacklisted from the game forevermore for saying something that a lot of us say on a daily basis.’ I don’t myself, but a lot of us do. So, I say let this man, who has done so much for the wrestling business, truly take his rightful place, and that’s back in the WWE.

Charlotte Flair Injury Update –  Apparently Charlotte Flair ruptured her breast implant before her match with Asuka at wrestleMania and opted to work through the next few weeks.  Apparently her not wrestling at ‘Mania was a big to do, and she really wanted to have that Asuka match no matter what.  She’s expected to take time off after the most recent tour of Europe, and wants to be back in time for SummerSlam.  Apparently the European tour pays well, and that’s why Charlotte wants to work it before taking time off.

Quick Hits – Brandi Lauren, formerly known as Ava Stories in IMPACT, wrestled last night at NXT’s latest set of TV tapings.   Minoru Suzuki has announced he’ll be taking on Kazuchika Okada in what we’ll be Suzuki’s 30th anniversary in the business.  Paige revealed recently that the spine injury was so severe that Paige thought she was going to end up in a wheelchair.  Yesterday at the first night of the War of the Worlds event, The Kingdom defeated SoCal Uncensored to win the ROH Trios Championship.  The reason for the title change was in part due to Dalton Castle needing to take time off due to injury, and the championship match between himself and Matt Taven had to be delayed.
