IMPACT Taping Notes (*Minor Spoilers*), NXT Killing Global Indies? and More! – WrestleCorp News

IMPACT Taping Notes – IMPACT’s recording the next month plus of t.v. for their show, and some minor details have come out over the last few days.  Firstly, it appears as though DJZ and Andrew Everett are a new tag team called Z&E.  They’ll be a tag team going forward.  Former D.C.C. member Eddie Kingston is back with the promotion, as a member of LAX.  And Aero Star had the wind knocked out of him apparently and had many people worried last night.  A lot of the Mexican talent have left IMPACT to return home this week.

Triple H Inserts Foot – It’s all about the money, right?  Triple H was on some Saudi Arabian television program today, and told them, from his own mouth, that the country of Saudi Arabia is “misunderstood”.  He then goes on to claim that the country that’s notorious for being exclusionary, homophobic, sexist and anti-Semantic, is a “very welcoming” place.  I sure hope the pay off is worth it.

Global NXT? – Yesterday during an conference, Triple H revealed plans to globalize NXT.  Triple H revealed the map below, which showed South America, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, China and several other territories that they’re looking at.  This is part of the WWE’s belief of conquering the industry, something Vince has been trying to do since the 1980’s.  So it’s no surprise that Trips is doing the same thing with his brand.  Will it work?  Probably, probably not.  Who knows?  I know I’m not pulling for it, because the WWE is known for stagnating careers who aren’t in the top five or six in the company.

Quick Hits – John Cena has stated publicly that he’s “not doing well” after the split with Nikki Bella.  Cody Rhodes has stated that it’s unlikely he returns to the WWE ever.  Apparently Hornswoggle and Shawn Daivari have arrived in Saudi Arabia; they’re both expected in the Rumble match.  Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold reportedly turned down paydays to appear at the Greatest Royal Rumble Ever.
