‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Back for 6th Season? Major ‘Arrow’ Character Getting Killed Off? and More! – ComicCorp News

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Lucking into a 6th Season? – According to MovieTVTechGeeks, Marvel and ABC are on the verge of renewing “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” for a sixth season, due to a desire to have a television connection with the series.  Here’s the quote from the report;

Disney doesn’t want to lose another Avengers connection on network television. With the upcoming season 5 finale coming in May, expect a season 6 announcement which should give diehard fans some good news.

Not only is ABC about to possibly renew the series, but also move to Tuesday, away form it’s Friday Night Kill Slot.  ABC has seen “Agent Peggy Carter” and “Inhumans” cancelled, both being the tie in shows for the Avengers.  While Netflix, Hulu and FreeForm are all airing Marvel shows, ABC has had less success.  So it seems logical that they’d go ahead with that idea.

New Catwoman Title Coming – Catwoman is getting her own series following the events of Batman #50, where she gets hitched to Batman.  She’ll start her own adventure by tracking down and attempting to capture a copy…CAT….(ha..ha…ha…..ha….HA), as well as a new villain.   The book is being written and drawn by Joelle Jones, and colored by Laura Alfred.  Joelle and Stanley Artgerm Lau will handle covers.   You can red the synopsis below.

The wedding night’s barely over, but Catwoman’s back on the streets, this time to expose a copycat who’s pulling heists around Gotham City. As Selina cracks the whip on her former criminal cohorts, she’s attracting unwanted attention from one of Gotham’s most dangerous groups. The mob? Nope. Try the GCPD. And as if the Bat-Bride didn’t have enough problems, there’s an all-new villain determined to make trouble for all nine of Selina’s lives. Don’t miss the start of an all-new monthly series written and illustrated by Eisner Award-nominee Joëlle Jones!

‘Rick and Morty’ Crossing Over With Beloved Game Franchise”? –   Cartoon Networks block of adult shows, called Adult Swim has one of the better shows on any network in “Rick and Morty”  And now  “Rick and Morty” will have a crossover with “Dungeons and Dragons” has been announced.  Oni Press’ “Rick and Morty” will jump to IDW’s “Dungeons and Dragons” in an event written by Patrick Rothfuss and Jim Zub, and will see award nominated artist Troy Little providing the illustrations.  In classic fashion, Morty asks Rick to teach him how to play Dungeons and Dragons, but obviously things go sideways for the pair.  Each issue will feature variant covers, character sheets and more.

Arrow Killing off Major Character? – As seen, Stephen Amell (BULLET CLUB IS FINE) has posted a script online of “Arrow’s” 23rd episode of the season, which is the show’s season finale.  With the series renewed for a 7th seasons, the crew is rumored to be planning a cliffhanger.  While the title of the episode is blacked out, Amell added a skull emojo which can be seen as a sign of ‘death’ by many.  It would make sense that they’d kill off a character.  The roster has become bloated in recent years, and the crew have already written off Willa Holland’s Thea Queen, so it makes sense that they’d want to drop another character or two.  So we’ll have to see what happens
