Triple H Taking Over More Control? Rousey to Put Over Stephanie? and More! – WrestleCorp News

Triple H Taking Over More of WWE? – Triple H will be taking over more of the company going forward with Vince stepping aside in the meanwhile to help launch the XFL. This may also be why the WWE promoted two to “co-Presidents”. Chief Strategy and Financial Officer George Barrios, and Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer Michelle Wilson hae been promoted to Co-Presidents, as well as members of the WWE Board of Directors. They’ll report directly to Vince McMahon though. So this may be how Vince keeps his hands in the product still.

Triple H is apparently putting together his own team to help run NXT, 205Live and other outlets, which include Jeremy Borash of all people. More names are expected to join “Team Triple Eh”.

Rousey to Bolster Stephanie’s Profile? – Dave Meltzer is reporting that part of the reason Ronda Rousey is being brought in is to help lift the profile of Stephanie McMahon in the mainstream. This is the WWE is pushing for Rousey and Stephanie to engage at WrestleMania. The WWE wants to really help make Stephanie McMahon “mainstream” (good luck), and working with Rousey and making her the face of the “Women’s Evolution” are how they want to go about that.

NWA (Radio) Network Launches – The NWA has announced that they’re launching the NWA Network. Billy Corgan has been pushing new boundaries for the NWA to explore for story building and character development. This apparently now involves podcasts. Right now there’s two up, and they’re spaced a day in between, so they might be daily. The podcasts will also apparently be uploaded to YouTube as well.
