Brian Michael Bendis’ Role in DC – Brian Michael Bendis’ deal with DC Comics is reported as multifaceted by the Hollywood Reporter. Apparently he’s expected to have say and input in some of the movies alongside Geoff Johns. It makes sense that he’d have to answer to Johns, as he’s DC’s top guy. Bendis apparently had a hand in some of the Marvel films as well, so we’ll see what he can bring to the table.

New Batman? – The news about Matt Reeves looking for a new Batman appears to have an odd choice in mind in deed. Apparently Reeve is eying Jake Gyllehaal for the role of Batman. The film would either be separate from the DC Universe or a prequel of sorts. Personally if they’re going to leave Ben Affleck behind, I’d say go with Jon Hamm. It should be noted that Ben Affleck has every intention of starring in “The Batman”.

James Franco to Star in X-Men Spin Off? – Fox is apparently developing a product with James Franco starring as Jame Madrox, aka Multiple Man. Multiple Man starred in the X-Factor series in the 90’s alongside Havok and Polaris. The film will see Simon Kinberg as a producer and Allan Heinberg will write the film. James and his brother Dave wanted to star in the film “Hardy Men” an adult take on the “Hardy Boy” book series. There’s no way to know for sure if that film will get made if he makes the X-Men spin off.
