Kenny Omega WWE Bound? – No. He’s not. Omega’s contract is due up on January 31st, and he seems to be keen with sticking around the company. Apparently watching a lot of the top talent leave the company has affected his desire to go there and work. NJPW is working out a new deal that’ll up Omega’s payout, and would give him “some authority” as a creative voice on his angles. There is zero concern that he’s leaving the company; as Omega has been very vocal with his how happy he is in NJPW and how unlikely he would be in the WWE.
Jason Momoa Set for New Franchise – “Justice League” is about to open up world wide this week, and Aquaman aka Jason Momoa is set to appear as Eric Draven in the upcoming remake of “The Crow”. The film has a new poster now, and you can see it below. We’re expecting a slew of casting announcements in the coming weeks for the film, as it’ll begin filming soon.
DC Comics Gives Major Side Character Own Title – Despite being relevant to the “Aquaman” mythos and even being in the Justice League, Aquaman’s wife and queen, Mera has never had her own series; until now. “Mera: Queen of Atlantis” is being launched as a six issue limited series and will be written by long time Aquaman creator Dan abnett. He’ll be joined by Lan Medina for the art work, and will have covers done by Nicola Scott. She’ll be joined by Ocean Master in this series. It’s expected to stand alone from the current “Aquaman” storylines.
Cleveland Knights Eric Bischoff – It looks like Eric Bischoff will be back in the world of pro wrestling, even if only as a storyline. Bischoff was announced to be showing up on February 9th, as part of the Cleveland Knights Championship Wrestling event; but as the co-owner of the promotion. Is this for real? Who knows. We’ll have to wait and see.
It was announced that Eric Bischoff would be appearing at the next live C.K.C.W. event on Friday, February 9, 2018 as the new co-owner of Cleveland Knights Championship Wrestling!!
