“New Mutants” Trailer – The new spinoff film of the X-Men is out and it’s…um….yeah. The new film, which will be stylized like a haunted house type film; features mutants dealing with their powers in some sort of evil science laboratory. The film features Magik, Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Cannonball and others, but you’ll probably not realize who’s who.

Opinion: I applaud them trying something different with the New Mutants, but, this might be too different.

New Addams Family Film Coming? – The co-director of “Sausage Party” is workingg on bringing a new “Addams Family” animated feature to MGM apparently. Conrad Vernon, the previously mentioned co-director, is working on the project. He’s done a lot of animation in the past, with “Shrek 2”, “monsters s . Aliens”, “Madagascar 3” and others under his belt, he seems to have enough experience. The last Addams Family property was the revival in the late 90’s, after the success of the black comedy film series.

MCU Con Coming? – Kevin Feige envisions the MCU like “Star Wars”, to the point of having a MCU-con. He’s quoted as saying;

Over the years there have been discussions about that. I think what we try to do occasionally in San Diego we’re very proud of and think is a fun tradition. That being said, I think [Star Wars] Celebration is pretty amazing. I’ve been to a few Celebrations and the idea of doing something like that … I think we have enough content, and enough fans, and enough ideas that we could easily do something like that, I’m just not sure where or when.

Quick Hits – Marvel’s 2 in One series seems to hint at the reformation of the original Fantastic Four. “Avengers 4” doesn’t have a title yet, so fans will focus on “Avengers 3”.
