#IMPACTonPOP Results, Update On Impact Name, John Cena Speaks And More – WrestleCorp News

Hello everyone and welcome to today’s edition of The News!! This is the day where I bring you all of the wrestling news you will ever need for your Friday night. Why would you ever want to go through many websites, searching through various articles when all the news you need is here, on the best website, the top website, the number one website and quite frankly, the only website you will ever need, NerdCorp. Enough nonsense, let’s just get to the news shall we?!?!

#IMPACTonPOP – Johnny Impact defeated KM in a #1 contender’s match. Taya Valkyrie defeated Ava Storie. Pagano and El Hijo del Fantasma defeated Eddie Edwards and EC3. Kongo Kong defeated Mahabali Shera. In another #1 contender’s match, Johnny Impact defeated Texano.

Impact Wrestling Once Again – The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Impact Wrestling and Anthem are phasing out the Global Force Wrestling out of the Impact Wrestling brand. They are not listing the organization as Impact Wrestling LLC, a subsidiary company of Anthem. While the deal to merger the company as Global Force Wrestling was in the process, it was never officially completed and with Jeff Jarrett’s current leave of absence, it is unknown if he will be back at this time. Stay tuned to NerdCorp as more on this becomes available.

John Cena Speaks – John Cena recently appeared on E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness to talk about a multitude of subjects.  In terms of his retirement, John Cena said that at 40, he is not retiring as of yet but realizes that his body will not be able to do a full schedule for WWE, saying that he had conversations with himself about when he gets a step slower it’s time to bow out before he becomes one of those guys. He realizes that he’s had a long run then probably should’ve been. John states that he is very thankful for the run he has had and that he’s willing to do anything Vince needs him to do but these “asks” need to be more selective, not only for the company’s future but his health and personal well-being as well.

Shayna Baszler To NXT – On September 16th, “The Queen of Spades” and Mae Young Classic finalist Shayna Baszler had a Twitch stream titled “Last Cali Stream”. She was telling viewers that she is moving to Orlando, which is the home base state and city of WWE NXT. It was also confirmed that Shayna has in fact signed with NXT. No word yet on her debut, I have my own theory of her debuting at NXT TakeOver: Houston.
