#IMPACTonPOP Results – Low Ki defeated Caleb Konley to retain the X-Division Championship. Davey Richards defeated Vikus Kumar. Lashley defeated Moose to retain the Impact Championship. Rosemary defeated Laurel Van Ness to retain the Impact Knockouts Championship. Alberto El Patron defeated Chris Adonis to retain the GFW Championship.
Austin Aries Update – Austin Aries had recently done an interview where it was hinted that he was possibly taking time off. However, he recently took to an interview with Josh Barnett to clarify what he meant…
“If you look at the full quote and what I said was, Everyone is dealing with various stuff,” Aries said. “I don’t think there is anyone in the locker room is 100%. We’re all nicked and banged up to various degrees. Like anything else, you pick and choose the times you need address when it needs to be addressed and some times are better than others. I figure no matter what interview I do, the real good ‘journalists’ are going to find the completely irrelevant quotes that will drum up some controversy and stick it on their page to get some clicks and completely miss the real context of what the interview is about. That’s what we do nowadays and call it ‘journalism.’”
I personally am a big Aries fan so I’m glad to see he is not taking time off, but of course if he was needing time away it’d be what would need to be done.
2 New “Total Divas” – Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss will be part of the Total Divas cast when the new season begins filming. The new season is set to begin in a few weeks after a final decision is made. Eva Marie will not be back for the new season, so producers have been interviewing the female roster to find a suitable replacement.
Big Show Update – The Big Show will moderate an “Inside Bungie” panel at E3 in Los Angeles next Tuesday at 12 PM local time. Bungie CEO Pete Parsons will talk about several topics, including Destiny 2. Big Show is said to be a huge fan of the first game.
