Jim Ross Health Update, NJPW Star Breaks Neck and More! – WrestleCorp News

Jim Ross Health Update – Jim Ross suffered a bit of a bump on New Japan Pro Wrestling’s G1 Climax Special from San Francisco, where Jay White suplexed Juice White into the guard rail.  The guard rail slammed into the table, and the table knocked Ross over, prompting a reaction from Josh Barnett.  Ross claims this wasn’t scripted, which makes the Barnett moment all the more interesting following it.

Ross has suffered ribs and lungs injury after the spot and as had to cancel three commitments due to the injury.  Apparently Ross had told NJPW to not have any spots near the table, which apparently did go the way he wanted it to.

NJPW Star Severely Injured – Hiromu Takahashi has apparently suffered a broken neck after a dangerous spot from Dragon Lee didn’t go properly, this according to Dave Meltzer.  Kenny Omega tweeted out support for Takahashi following the injury announcement.  No word yet on how severe the injury he, at no point has there been any reports of a loss of feeling, and he was conscious and alert following the match.
