It looks like Braun Strowman might be on the shelf for some time. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer and John Pollock of Post Wrestling both report that Strowman might miss some time due to a need to have surgery on his elbow.  The expectations is to work TLC, but that is considered to be optimistic at best.

An interesting name at the WWE events over the weekend was Pro-Wrestling NOAH President Masayuki Uchida.  He was apparently at both NXT WarGames II and Survivor Series.  No word on why as of yet.  NOAH is in the midst of their own rebuilding, similar to IMPACT Wrestling, so a deal doesn’t seem likely.  It could just be that Uchida was wanting to watch some wrestling.

In Ring of Honor news, Brent and Brandon Tate (aka The Boys) , have announced that they have signed a new contract with the promotion.

In other ROH news, it appears the WWE is interested in signing ACH and Silas Young, though the scope of how interested is unknown.  ACH left ROH a while back and started working more in Japan, though a new rumor has ACH also in talks with ROH Wrestling.  There’s no contract in place, and it seems negotiations with ROH have stalled.
