Major Names Returning and Debuting in Arrowverse Crossover, Major Casting News for DC and More! – ComicCorp News

Arroverse Debuting Lois Lane? – Superman is back.  Just announced today, Superman has been confirmed to be starring in all three of the Arrowverse crossover episodes featuring Batwoman this fall.  This obviously sets up some curious encounters with The Flash, Green Arrow and of course; John Diggle.  If he can’t comprehend Flash, Superman is going to break him.  I can’t wait.

Joining The Man of Steel will be his wife, or maybe not wife in the Arrowverse, Lois Lane.

Arrowverse Casting News – This would of been a bigger deal ten years ago, due to time and a decline of quality roles but we have our Robotman.  After taking turns as an A-Lister starring in the extremely successful Mummy franchises, Brandon Fraser has been signed to play Robotman in the DC Universe series, Doom Patrol.   Kelsey Grammer is in talks to play Dr. Niles Caulder .  They’ll be joined by Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero),  and Cyborg (Joivan Wade).   Assuming the Grammer news is accurate, that leaves only Negative Man to be cast.

4th Darksiders Coming? – Gunfire Games revealed at GamesCon this week that Darksiders III isn’t the end of the franchise, and that fourth is being looked into.  Richard Vorodi, the Senior Designer on the third game is quoted as saying;

The plan was always four.

The previous three followed War, Death and now Fury, with the fourth rumored to be Strife/Pestilence.   Fury is also referred to as Famine.  Whatever though, it’s a video game franchise that allows you to beat people up with mystical powers, who cares?

Quick Hits – After 12 years and a slew of awards and rating victories, CBS has announced that The Big Bang Theory is ending after this next season.  It’s being rumored that Netflix is doing a sequel to Death Note. The Alfred Pennyworth show Pennyworth that’ll air on Epix is currently casting a younger Alfred for the role – shocking.
