Andrew Lincoln Confirms Reason for TWD Departure – The show is shifting from Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes to Norman Reedus’ Darl Dixon during season 9.  Rumors abound as to why Lincoln was leaving the role, but today we have confirmed why thanks to Lincoln himself.  In an interview with EW, he said;

I have two young children, and I live in a different country, and they become less portable as they get older.  It was that simple. It was time for me to come home.

Quick Hits – Dave Batista has landed a starring role in a new movie called I Spy where he plays an undercover agent spying on a little girl’s family.  Sounds like The Pacifier.  Which also starred a Guardian of the Galaxy cast member.  Movie Pass appears to be on the brink of bankruptcy after cancelling some 91% of available theaters in the States.  GameStop is also in trouble, cancelling their Elite Pro Membership offerings on August 1st, allowing fans to sign up for the program for one last year.  Diane Guerrero has been cast as Crazy Jane in Doom Patrol TV series on the DC Universe.
