Venom Set to Flop? – The upcoming ‘Venom’ film has a rumored leaked scrip, and that script seems to explain why we didn’t see Eddie Brock as the titular hero;  he isn’t in the film.  At least not like what we were expecting.   According to the leak, Venom is nothing more than black veins that flare up on Eddie Brock.  Brock’s also an ex-con.  Not a journalist.  So…yeah.  This movie, should the rumors be true, seems like a flop.

Marvel Has No Clue Whats Going On – Despite what fans may want to believe, the MCU doesn’t really know what it’s doing from movie to movie.  This is becoming pretty evident to many but not most or all.  Joss Whedon was beloved before he took the chair for Avengers, but now in an attempt to shift the blame, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are talking about how hard it is adapting what went on in ‘Age of Ultron’ and applying it to ‘Infinity War’, saying;

At the end of Ultron, he said “Fine, I’ll do it myself.”

Stephen McFeely:Not our movie.

[laughter]

Christopher Markus: And we’ve all sat there and went, “What the hell is he talking about? Where was he when he did that?”

There was also the other gauntlet in [Odin’s treasure room].

Stephen McFeely: Another delightful, delightful problem.

Christopher Markus: Odin’s a bit of a showman. Thanos turns out to have quite a few people to talk to both on his side and not on his side. Weirdly I think he’s the most understandable guy in the movie sometimes.

Quick Hits – Chris Hemsworth will be joined by Tessa Thompson in the ‘Men in Black’ spin off.   Marvel Comics have killed of Mjolnir, possibly to recreate what’s happening in the films.  Nintendo filed a new Pokemon Trademark for a clothing line.
