Whedon’s ‘Batgirl’ Idea, ‘Flashpoint’ Director Update

Joss Whedon’s Script Idea – Joss Whedon is off ‘Batgirl’, but his idea for the film was going to follow a classic Detective Comics story. To be accurate, it was Detective Comics Vol.1 #359, which saw the introduction of Batgirl. Many expected to see Batgirl’s film start off with her in her 20’s recovering from the Joker’s bullet. This was not the case obviously.

Flashpoint Directors Still Aren’t Inked – The two men who will helm the upcoming ‘Flashpoint’ film still have yet to sign a contract according to the Hollywood Reporter. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein gave comments, first with Daley, saying;

We’re still negotiating. Deals are in the works right now.

Daley reveals that they haven’t started n the script yet due to the fact they’re waiting on the deal to be signed.

Goldstein commented as well, jokingly adding;

Hopefully, it will work out. It’s all about parking spots. If you give in then you’re all the way out by craft services. You want a better spot than that.
