Shazam Star Wants Major Cameo, Nintendo Relaunching Nintendo Power? and More! – ComicCorp News

Shazam Having Major Cameo? – Zachary Levi’s “Shazam!” is the next highly anticipated film in the DC Cannon. When asked about having a major cameo, Levi was very blunt saying Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman;

I think getting a cameo from anybody would be super cool, but I just think Gal Gadot is so effervescent. She has such a charm. And she seems like a really cool broad. Like, she was in the Israeli army. She’s a mom. And I’m like, ‘You seem like you’re grounded and cool, and you’re Wonder Woman, and you rock.’ And I think it would be really funny to have the 14-year-old Billy Batson inside of Shazam that’s really awkward around this beautiful Amazonian. I just think that would be really awesome.

Nintendo Launching New Podcast – The folks over at Nintendo made a childhood a lot more colorful thanks to the Nintendo Power magazine. With the declines of magazines, ones that were specific about one genre, with a younger age bracket, were in trouble. So it wasn’t surprising that Nintendo cancelled the magazine. However, replacing it will apparently be the Nintendo Power Podcast. The podcast is being hosted by Chris Slate and Kit Ellis. Right now they’re planning on once a month but will do more if the demand is there. It’s also going to be fan driven, as they’re waiting on fans and others to submit their ideas and opinions.

Quick Hits – Hulu has officially renewed “The Runaways” for a second season. ABC’s fantasy drama “Once Upon a Time” is apparently on pace for a renewal. ABC’s Channing Dungey is cautiously optimistic about another season. There’s a woman in Florida who wants to marry Tetris, the video game. Yup. ABC’s Channing Dungey won’t confirm or deny “Inhumans” being cancelled or renewed.
