Major ‘Arrow’ Star Confirmed to Return, “Supergirl” Fans Are Bitching and More! – ComicCorp News

Major Arrow Star Returning – After taking a leave of absence to deal with his mental health, Colton Haynes is returning to “Arrow” for a story arc that’ll start in episode 15. It’s only for a few episodes, but that’s still something.

Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mercile released a duel statement, saying;

We’re thrilled to announce that Colton Haynes will be reprising his role as Roy Harper for a short arc on Arrow this year. Roy is called back to Star City to help resolve an urgent matter with high stakes for the team. His short visit turns into something surprising when he reunites with Thea and sparks a change in both of their lives that will have long-lasting consequences…

Supergirl Fans Bitching – The fans of Supergirl are bitching about time slots. The fanbase believe their show to be holier than though, and worth more than it is, and are currently protesting the show’s hiatus for a few weeks to allow for “Black Lighting” to debut, and “Legends of Tomorrow” to finish up their shorter season. With the exception of The Flash, I know every other DC TV show within the Arrowverse has been moved not just timeslots, but days as well. To think one show is somehow above this process is hilariously misguided. The series is on hiatus for the mid season, will return in January and then is off from February 12th to April 16th. Not the worst thing that could happen to a show.

But now a day fans just want to bitch about things, and they’re bitching about this. They launched a petition with a few thousand signatures to get them to change the scheduling. You can read it below.

Today it was revealed that Legends of Tomorrow will replace Supergirl at its Monday timeslot from February 12th til April 16th. In response to this we the fans are calling for Supergirl to not be changed or Legends of Tomorrow to be moved to another night.

To have a 9 week break to let another show have its time is obsurd [sic] and it will tarnish the shows viewer ratings as it will be off for over two months and a lot of people will wonder if the show has been cancelled or moved elsewhere.

This is a petition to try and fight for whats right.

Titan’s Casting Two More – The folks at the “Titans” series is casting two more characters, and some are speculating who they are. The casting calls are below.

[YOUNG JOHN CROSSLAND] Male, Caucasian, To play 10-13, athletic, lean, approximately 5’0″ and not afraid of heights,” reads the first character breakdown. “Please list height on submission. RECURRING GUEST STAR.

[DAVE STORY] Male, mid 30s-40s, Caucasian. The downfalls of others only make this man stronger. Polished. Unwavering. Think a young Jack Nicholson. RECURRING GUEST STAR.

It clearly feels to me that they’re looking for a Robin-like character, and a villain but some believe we’re getting a young Dick and Bruce Wayne combo. I don’t think that’s true, as it says in his character description that he feeds off of the failures of others.

Josh Wilding of ComicBookMovies made that allegation but he’s not exactly reliable. The odds that “Titans” will feature an adult Bruce Wayne when “Gotham” still airs is just not reasonable to think is possible.

Quick Hits – The Punisher has been given a second season by Netflix. David F. Sandberg confirms that Billy Batson won’t be so combative, unlike his New 52 counterpart. Game of Thrones series finale scrip apparently made the cast cry.
There’s a rumor that Sam Neil may return as Dr. Alan Grant in the second “Jurassic World” film.
