Major IMPACT News and Notes, Survivor Series Updates and More! – WrestleCorp News

Major IMPACT News – As known by now, Rockstar Spud has been let go by IMPACT Wrestling. He joins Taryn Terrell, Reno Scum, Robbie E and Kingston as talents that have been recently let go. Spud was let go upon his own request, though I’m told IMPACT didn’t have anything for him. The new regime wants ‘their’ guys in those slots.

There’s a rumor going around that IMPACT is attempting to partner with NJPW as well as NOAH. It’s also being alleged that Ricochet’s contract negotiations have stalled out for the time being.

205Live Additions? – The word going around is that Rockstar Spud won’t be unemployed for long. After missing a good bulk of the year due to visa issues, the British star is supposed to be signing with the WWE to star work in 205Live. Joining him might be NXT star Hideo Itami. Itami, otherwise known as KENTA, has been in NXT since his debut back in 2014.

Quick Hits – Survivor Series will be anchored by long time rivals, Shane McMahon (SmackDown) and Kurt Angle (RAW) in the five on five RAW vs. SmackDown match. IMPACT officials have apologized to Okada for his booking in the company in 2009.
