Big ROH News, A Legend Retires, IMPACT News and More! – WrestleCorp News

ROH News – Cody Rhodes slammed Roman Reigns last night, asking if his bullet proof vest actually covers up his failed drug tests. Also during the main event, the Bullet Club took a group selfie with Jimmy Jacobs, who was sitting in the audience during their match. Jacobs was fired not that long ago for taking a photo with the Bullet Club. Bully Ray also made news, announcing that he had to retire due to a lingering concussion. Bully Ray will go further into detail on Busted Open Radio.

Opinion: Bully Ray is known as one of the most unprofessional wrestlers in the history of the buisness, mostly due to the constant stream of concussions he’s dealt to those he felt were “undeserving”. Rene Dupree is one of the most notable in his wrath, claiming he received at least 20+ concussions from Bully alone.

House of Hardcore/Twitch Deal – The deal we talked about last week with House of Hardcore has an official press release. They’ll begin streaming HOH content on November 18th at 8 p.m. EST. They’re advertising “pre and post-match content and interviews”, which may be vignettes and skits. Here’s the official press release;

“This is an incredible milestone for professional wrestling on Twitch as we expand this new and fast-growing content vertical,” said Eric Brunner, Partnerships Manager, Twitch??. “Our partnership with House of Hardcore not only gives our passionate community more of the wrestling content they have demanded, but also more of what it has always thrived on. Twitch has always been about engagement with vibrant entertainment personalities, much like Tommy Dreamer and other pro wrestlers.”

“I have said for months that I have been waiting for the right deal to take House of Hardcore to the next level,” said Tommy Dreamer, founder of House of Hardcore. “Our new tag team with Twitch puts HOH on the cutting edge of technology and will allow us to be seen before not only die-hard wrestling fans, but an entirely new generation of viewers who I hope will fall in love with pro wrestling just like I did as a kid. Twitch has helped change the world in how people view programming and is continuing to grow and evolve that. We look forward to innovating professional wrestling in the same way by spotlighting new stars on the platform Twitch has afforded us. Everything before today was just the prologue. IMPACT News – Bound for Glory currently only has General Admission tickets left. Also, on October 21st, IMPACT is working with Imperial Wrestling Revolution. The show is being billed with a “One Night Only” ppv taping. The show features a lot of talent, as the card below is stacked;
– GFW champion Eli Drake vs. Montego Seeka
– MVP vs. Damon Windsor
– Alberto el Patron vs. Bobby Lashley
– EC3 vs Jack Swagger
– Gail Kim vs. Rebel
– LAX vs. The Young Guns
– The Arrow Club vs. Marshall & Ross Von Erich
– Trevor Lee vs. DJ Z vs. Malice vs. El Fuego del Sol

There had been rumors of Jack Swagger coming in when Jarrett and Dutch were working together but that’s unsure now. It should be noted that IMPACT is scouting out the Von Erich’s. The two sides have worked together a few times prior, and with them now coming into their own it would make sense for IMPACT to go after them and attempt to bring them in.

Quick Hits – Strowman will appear on a MizTV segment to help bolster their six an tag match at TLC. The SHIELD will defend their tag team titles against Cesaro and Sheamus tonight.
