Major Name Eyed for Mr. Sinister? Huge Name Joining ‘Halloween’ Cast? and More! – ComicCorp News

Mr. Sinister Update – “Gambit” has had many issues since it was announced, with countless behind the scene changes, the shake up of the movies release date, and the like. However, Channing Tatum has never wavered from the project and apparently it’s back on track now. The lead rumor for the movies villain, from Slash Report, has pegged Daniel Craig as the front runner to play Mr. Sinister. We’ll have to wait and see if that rumors pans out.

Major Name Joining ‘Halloween’ – Jamie Lee Curtis is reprising her role as Laurie Strode in what will be the second revival of the “Halloween” franchise, this time by Gordon Green and Danny McBride. One of my favorite actresses, Judy Greer is in talks to play the Laurie Strode, and obviously, the niece of Michael Meyers. Josh Hartnett once played Curtis’ on screen son, but apparently he and those movies (which also saw Curtis’ character die) are being erased. Greer is known for her role in “Jurassic World”, as the children’s mother, and in “Ant-Man” as Paul Rudd’s on screen husband, but I love her the most as Cheryl from “Archer”. Go watch “Archer”.

Does Jared Leto Watch His Own Movies? – Jared Leto has revealed something that shouldn’t be too surprising; he doesn’t watch his own movies. He explains why he doesn’t and it makes all the sense in the world;

just think with watching your own films, it can be too self-conscious of a process. You either like what you did and you’re prone to repeat it, or you didn’t like it, and it can make you self-conscious. I’m not sure how much win there is for me. But I read the scripts, so I know what’s going to happen.

Quick Hits – Paramount Pictures have apparently secured the rights to the “Sonic the Hedgehog” film, which will incorporate CGI and live-action stuff. M Night Shyamalan has began filming the third and final film in his Unbreakable trilogy, titled “Glass”. Despite it being a Bumblebee spin off film, “Bumblebee” will include Optimus Prime in the film.
