Interesting Directors to Helm Mega Man Movie – Well Mega Man fans, The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that ‘Catfish’ directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman are attached to direct the project. It should be noted that Ariel and Joost are not the hosts of MTV’s “Catfish”. It’s an interesting idea and will see the film produced by Chernin Entertainment and Masi Oka. So, here we go.

Ghostbusters Reboot Getting Comic Series – While we all thought the horrendous reboot of “Ghostbusters” was officially dead and gone, much like the ghosts they hunt they’re back, this time in comic book form. The series will be written by Kelly Thompson and illustrated by Corin Howell. The series is being called “Ghostbusters: Answer the Call” and will see the new-movie heroes battle a “terrifying Class VII” ghost who produces your greatest fears. It’ll last for five issues.

Odd Way to Include Famous Spider-Man Line – Apparently the new Spider-Man movie was going to feature the iconic Spider-Man line that actually has only been said once by Uncle Ben in film form, the line was going to be delivered by Happy Hogan of all people. Jonathan Goldstein described the seen, saying;

At the end when Happy (Jon Favreau) is in the boy’s room in school we had him say, ‘Oh yeah, Tony wanted me to tell you, ‘With great power comes… something, I forgot. It was a little too meta.

Steppenwolf Previewed – We have another look at the Steppenwolf character for the upcoming “Justice League” film.

Quick Hits – “Batman: Enemy Within”, “The Walking Dead” and “The Wolf Among Us” all get new ‘seasons’ from Telltale Games (aka new games). Sega of America discontinues ‘Sonic’ comic line with Archie Comics, but does confirm that they’ll be more comics down the line.
