Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Henry Thomas has joined Stargirl as Dr. Charles McNider, aka Dr. Mid-Nite.  Yes, that was the name of the original character.  McNider.  Not even trying to hide who you are, eh?  And people say Superman has a weak secret identity.  McNider will be a recurring guest role according to Entertainment Weekly and continues to round out the cast of the JSA for the show.  For those of you curious, Thomas is the same person that played Elliot from the hit 80’s movie, E.T. .

In news that will surely prompt speculation over James Wan‘s involvement as the DCEU’s next architect, word has it that he’s out of the Resident Evil reboot.  Wan himself revealed he’s no longer involved in the Resident Evil reboot as a producer in an interview with Bloody Disgusting.  While talking about Aquaman, his newest film, Wan stated he hates when people bring up future projects he’s involved way, saying;

They announce that I’m attached to a lot of stuff and a lot of them are not necessarily real.  It’s kind of annoying when things come and go, or things never came in the first place. I hate it when my projects get announced. It makes it seem like I’m attached to a lot of things when in fact I’m not necessarily doing so many things. A lot of my stuff just get announced and I don’t want them to be announced but people love to announce them.
