Dark Phoenix Trailer Released – Despite some mixed reviews, the Dark Phoenix trailer has been getting a lot of play lately. The film is expected to be the 2nd to last in the X-Men-Fox cannon, followed by the final film; The New Mutants.

Update on Veronica Mars Series – Despite facing some criticism over recent comments, Kristen Bell is still forging ahead with the new Amazon series.  Bell was interviewed by SiriusXM about the upcoming series, being quoted as saying;

It’s going to be a much darker world. It’s going to be a bigger world.  It’s definitely not going to be what we did on UPN or The CW, so I want to brace fans for that. That it’s going to be darker and bigger and more cinematic and definitely a little bit different.

Quick Hits – Ewan McGregor and Sharlto Copley  are in the running to play Black Mask in the upcoming Birds of Prey movie.   In similar news, it looks like Sam Rockwell was also up for the role but pulled out of the running. 

Andrew Lincoln apparently thought about leaving after season 8 of The Walking Dead but stayed on for part of one more season.  Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Karen Fukuhara, and Laz Alonzo have all been confirmed to play Billy Butcher, Hughie Campbell, The Female and Mothers Milk in the upcoming The Boys TV series for Amazon, with The Frenchman yet to be identified. 

The Titans revealed their first big poster for the upcoming series and it features Robin, Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy.    HBO has announced that they’re ending their boxing program, and it’s expected to wrap up on October 27th.
