IMPACT Talent News, The Predator Wants to go to Saudi and More! – WrestleCorp News

IMPACT Wrestling Talent Update – Willie Mack has agreed to more dates with IMPACT Wrestling, making him a regular going forward.  While it’s not nessecarily a long term deal I’m told, Mack and IMPACT are quite interested in working together long term even if the deal isn’t in place as of yet.  I’m told this is like the Rich Swann deal, where both sides will feel one another out before committing.

Speaking of committing, Sami Callihan re-upped for another year (at least) according to PWInsider.  His deal was up soon, having debuted last year in November for the company at Bound for Glory.

In other IMPACT news, the reason for James Ellsworth being used at Bound for Glory was due to the company agreeing to terms with indy star Joey Janela, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.  Janela suffered a major knee injury and can’t compete for some time, so the decision was made to just bring in Ellsworth for a night and give Abyss a big moment.  Janela was set to be a big regular moving forward but that obviously had to be tabled.

While there remains a rumor that Austin Aries will return to the promotion, that is still anyone’s guess, as Johnson also reported that there was t.v. written for Aries to film this week but he instead opted to return home to Las Vegas; where IMPACT is filming in November.

In a rumor killer, Alberto El Patron is not in talks to return to IMPACT Wrestling according to PWInsider and my own sources.  SEScoops, which doesn’t have the best reputation was the ones to report this.  Doubled on the issue at hand is that Patron is concentrating on his return to MMA with his MMA promotion Combate Americas, and a return wouldn’t make any sense.

In final news, IMPACT has inked Jordynne Grace has signed on for a two year deal with IMPACT and is expected to be part of the revamped division alongside Allie and Tesas Blanchard.

Randy Orton Is a Fucking Idiot – Don’t say anything. Just don’t.  That’s what practically every wrestler in the world knows right now in regards to the WWE talent and their controversial trip to Saudi Arabia.  The WWE doesn’t need the money, they want the money, so they’re putting their talent in an situation that no one wants to even be in.  Well Randy ‘Apex Sexual Predator’ Orton himself wants to go to the WWE.  Why?  Cue up the WWE spin machine, because Orton spun the same bullshit lies to media that he, JBL and others have already said.  He was quoted by TMZ saying;

I think we should go.  I think the only way to help with change over there is to go and not cancel the trip. Our girls performed in Abu Dhabi not too long ago and I think we’ll be there eventually with Saudi and Crown Jewel. That’s the goal, to make things better everywhere, and I think us not going, doesn’t help. Going helps.

Keep in mind, that since the WWE went in April, the Saudi Arabian government killed, chopped up and transported a reporter across country lines.  That’s what happened since the WWE went the first time.  So no, going doesn’t help for shit.  But this is the man who, by his own words, sexually assaulted men on the WWE roster for laughs.

Quick Hits – Chris Jericho commented on his podcast recently that he would need triple the amount to return to Saudi Arabia, though it was more because it was a hassle to travel through, not because of the current uproar surrounding their ties to a missing (presumed dead) journalist.  Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Molly Holly and Ivory will be at the WWE Evolution event but their role is not yet known.  Kevin Owens had major surgery on both knees recently.  His timetable to return is unknown at the moment.  Rey Mysterio is set to face off with Shinsuke Nakamura at Starrcade on November 24th for the US title.  Starrcade is nothing but a glorified house show these days.
