Arrowverse News – News came out from the set of the Elseworld crossover event that has raised some questions. Firstly our theory of Grant Gustin being the new Green Arrow on Arrow seems to have some traction; as we got our first look at Stephen Amell in The Flash suit. Amell and Gustin are switching roles for at least an episode in the crossover, as Amell will be The Flash and Gustin will be Green Arrow.

The next rumor revolves around Jensen Ackles, who was on the set of the crossover. Ackles famously played Red Hood in Under the Red Hood and ever since then fans have played fantasy booking and cast him in numerous DC roles. However, now that Ackles appeared on set, many fans are wondering if he’s playing Batman. Stephen Amell has dispelled those rumors, claiming that Amell was on set due to him being a fan of Grant Gustin.
However a photo of Ackles next to a Red Hood costume appeared on his Instagram page in late August, which went viral.
Netflix Cancels Another Marvel Series – Well it’s either because they’re consolidating the series into a new series, or that Marvel is moving properties over to their own Disney digital platform, but Luke Cage has been cancelled by Netflix. This may lead to a Heroes for Hire series with the now cancelled Iron Fist actor Finn Jones joining up with Mike Colter of Luke Cage.
Who knows what’s next but it seems likely Punisher, Daredevil, and Jessica Jones may be on the chopping block.
Quick Hits – Today (Friday the 19th) marks the first day Blockbuster ever opened it’s door. Zach Snyder confirmed Lex Luthor’s “Ding! Ding! Ding!” comment at the end of Dawn of Justice was supposed to be the sound of a Lex imitating the sound of the Mother Box device.
