Captain Marvel First Looks – We got our first look at not only Captain Marvel in Marvel’s upcoming film of the same name, but also the villains of the film, the Nameks.   Oh, sorry, the Skrull.  Or are they the Dark Elves from the Thor film?   Had to tell.

We also got a cover photo of Captain Marvel star Brie Larson who’s all decked out from head to to toe on the cover of Entertainment Weekly.

We also got a description of Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel from Larson herself to Entertainment Weekly, describing her as;

She can’t help but be herself.  he can be aggressive, and she can have a temper, and she can be a little invasive and in your face. She’s also quick to jump to things, which makes her amazing in battle because she’s the first one out there and doesn’t always wait for orders. But the [not] waiting for orders is, to some, a character flaw.

We also got a look at Samuel L. Jackson de-aged and I’m scared.  The future is fucking with us cus this looks just like Jackson.

 

 

Quick Hits – Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be at the New York ComicCon next month on October 5th, at 11:30 a.m.   Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the man who plays Jaime Lannister, was ordered to pay $2 million to his former manager for breach of contract.  Timothy Dalton has signed on to join DC Universe’s Doom Patrol.   Film makes confirm that the Spidermon won’t appear in new Doom film.
