Goldberg back to NJPW? – Spots Illustrated is reporting that NJPW has reached out to Bill Goldberg to appear on their U.S. show in March. There is no word on any official offer being made or even his availability but there were apparently internal discussions. Goldberg, much like other Hall of Famers in the WWE, are not tied to any real exclusivity, and the date’s don’t tangle up his Hall of Fame induction, so he could easily appear and not have any issues. As Jericho is currently booked for an extended feud with Naito in NJPW, and is set to appear on RAW 25, one would think this is possible too. Goldberg’s wrestled in All Japan Pro Wrestling and Hustle-1 the precursor to Muta’s current Wrestle-1.
IMPACT Fires New Talent – Word coming out of Orlando today has IMPACT firing recently signed Knockout, Hania The Howling Huntress. Hania was apparently tossed due to her refusing to lose to Su Yung. Su Yung is currently being built up along with Taya, Allie and Rosemary as the top talent in the Knockouts Division and her refusal to lose was seen as a deal breaker with the new regime who will have none of it.
Hania has had issues with her attitude dating back to her time in Chikara, allegedly.
WWE RAW 25 Update – Lillian Garcia and Johnathon Coachmen have both been added to the event on Monday. Kevin Nash has since pulled out due to pain in his replaced knee. Speaking of which, Scot Hall was told to bring his gear, with belief that he and Sean Waltman may reenact their memorable upset win back in the early days of RAW. The Miz’s wife, Maryse is also set to appear.
Quick Hits – The 17 year old who struck and killed Jim Ross’ wife had the charges dismissed today. He was charged with vehicular homicide. The WWE has created a new sugary snack for kids, called WWE Superstar Snacks. Now you can finally have John Cena or Sasha Banks in your mouth.
