Does Jeff Cobb Need Lucha Underground to Change? – He’s one of their top stars, but Lucha Underground may be without Matanza Cueto aka Jeff Cobb if somethings don’t change. While he didn’t go into details, he was interviewed recently and was quoted as saying;
I haven’t heard much about it and I’m still kind of negotiating season four – you know kind of the long break hasn’t been helpful to anybody and its soured a lot of people that are involved with it,” he said. “In a perfect world, I would love to come back but there’s a couple of things that need to be ironed out. Not just with me but with everybody so we just need to figure something out and everybody needs to get on the same page.
Neville/WWE Update – Dave Meltzer is reporting that Neville is still trying to leave the WWE. The WWE is forcing Neville to stay, and are going to make him sit out the rest of his contract, which isn’t that close to ending I’m told. Neville wants out of the WWE for a variety of reasons, notably being that he knows he can make more on the outside of the company than working for the WWE.
*Update – WrestleZone published a quote from The Sun out of the UK stating that the WWE would more than likely release the former Cruiserweight Champion. I’m taking Meltzer though over The Sun; which is tabloid garbage.
Quick Hits – Paige is backstage at RAW, but still isn’t cleared yet. She might be cleared as soon as tonight, but she’s not being rushed back. WrestleMania 35 is being eyed for the Northeast according to PWInsider. Bullet Club’s Bad Luck Fale has announced he has a major announcement to make at 3 a.m. EST local time. Rumors of a retirement aren’t likely, as it’s a NJPW official page.
