Legends of Tomorrow Star Leaves Show – With Victor Garber leaving the series to focus on his Broadway career, there were many wondering how Garber’s Martin Stein would not only be written off, but how they would continue on Franz Drameh’s character without his other half. Well after the death of Stein, Drameh’s Jefferson Jackson spent this past episode dealing with the loss of his surrogate father figure. Ultimately at the end of the episode he opted to leave the team, but it wasn’t a storyline. Apparently the writers have phased out Franz Drameh from the show. Entertainment Weekly has stated that Drameh has left the series, but unlike some departures over the Arrowverse’s six years, this one might not be permanent. It was alluded in the EW update that it was Drameh’s decision to leave the show.
Opinion: With Firestorm down, and Zari being just a bust this year, the cast and crew need to up their game. I think a fitting replacement in universe would be Keiynan Lonsdale, aka Wally West. “The Flash” is bogged down by so many superheroes, and moving Lonsdale from “The Flash” to “Legends of Tomorrow” would be nothing more than a lateral move, as they both film in the same block of studios, the same city and at the same times. It’d give the Wally West character time and new storylines to embrace, while freshening up the cast.
