First Reactions to Justice League and Star Trek: Discovery, Major ‘Riverdale’ Spin Off Coming? – ComicCorp News

First Reactions to Justice League – The Twitter account tweeted out that they spoke to three people who saw an advanced screening of the upcoming “Justice League” film, and tweeted out that all three loved it, and one described it as “epic” and that one of them wasn’t a fan of “Dawn of Justice” but loved this one. Take it for what it’s worth, but this is a good start to the pre-hype.

As far as Zack Snyder’s concerned, he has no intention on taking the franchise from Joss Whedon, noting it’d be unfair after all he did after Snyder stepped down, and is apparently moving on from the DCEU. It should also be noted that Warner Bros. intends on doing director driven films, unlike Marvel who’s forced all their directors to follow the same template.

Star Trek First Reactions – Most of the twitter responses to those who have seen the first two episodes of “Star Trek: Discovery” are in and they’re beaming and positive. However, it should be noted several noted that the are “elements sure to spark a debate”, and that concerns me. I have no clue what it’s going to be, but it drops on Sunday. So we’ll find out.

‘Riverdale’ Spin Off Coming – The CW series “Riverdale” will be dropping their own spin off, much like “Arrow” did for “The Flash”. Debuting in the second season in the series will be none other than Sabrina, the teenage witch. The character, also owned by Archie Comics, is the second biggest franchise character for the publisher, so getting her back on t.v. is something they want. The new series is tentatively scheduled to be called “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”, which will take a more chilling twist to the series. The series is being set for 2018-2019, and will focus on Sabrina fighting herself, as well as taking on the evil forces. The current plan is apparently to introduces her on “Riverdale” but that may change.

Quick Hits – Sebastian Stan is confirmed for “Avengers 4”. “Supergirl’s”new main villain for season three will divide the team in more ways than one. Parker Young, from season four of “Arrow”, has auditioned for Shazam in the upcoming “Shazam” film. Darth Vader rumored to be in new “Han Solo” anthology film. The Punisher gets a new trailer set to Metallica;
