Prince Harry Hates Fortnight, Movies Get First Footage Released and More Nerd News

The younger Prince of England, Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex doesn’t want the English to play Fortnight.  Talking at a YMCA in West London, Harry spoke about the dangers that the game presents, saying;

The game shouldn’t be allowed.  It’s created to addict. An addiction to keep you in front of a computer for as long as possible. It’s so irresponsible.

Parents have got their hands up – they don’t know what to do about it. It’s like waiting for the damage to be done.

It’s more dangerous because it’s normalized and there are no restrictions to it.  We are in a mind-altering time. Without that human connection, when you do have a problem you have nowhere to go. The only place you might go is online and you will probably end up getting bullied.

With that being said, at no point did Harry say he was going to push for legislation for banning the game; and if he did he’d be met with much resistance.   The normalizing of alcohol consumption has just as many dangers, if not more so, and it’s not banned.  That’ll be an easy debate to win.
