Titan’s Cast Another Major Hero, Bill and Ted Bring Back Fan Fave and More Nerd News

It’s been announced that Chelsea T. Zhang, who has a minor role in the Disney t.v. show Andi Mack, will play Rose Wilson; aka The Ravager on the DC Universe show Titans.  She joins Esai Morale’s Deathstroke as well as Chella Man’s Jericho as members of Deathstroke’s family.  With rumors of Terra joining the show as well, it’s very possible that season two features many Deathstroke vs. Titans match up’s.

Cool news from Nether Realms Studio as they have cast iconic Japanese actor Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa to reprise his role as Shang Tsung for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 video game.  Tagawa played the live actin Shang in the 1995 Mortal Kombat film, and also went on to have a hit turn as the original Johnny Tsunami in Disney’s hit Disney Channel Film, Johnny Tsunami.

In even more fan-centric news, Bill and Ted 3: Face the Music will see the return of William Sadler as The Grim Reaper for the third installment.  Sadler played the wise-cracking, game-playing Lord of Death in the sequel and quickly became a hit among fans.  The get for the film was necessary after franchise icon George Carlin passed away in 2008, meaning that the only other major character that could return was Death.

Apple has announced a new subscription service called Apple Arcade, which will help users discover new games, according to CBR.com.  The service will feature over 100 exclusive titles, with an unknown price point. It looks like the games will only be playable for iPhone and IPad devices, but won’t feature any freemium games.  All games will be updated for no extra cost beyond the monthly subscription.  The service will be available in the Apple app store and will launch in the fall.
